Paleo Pizza: The Meatza

Ingredients

Crust:

  • 1 lb *****
  • 1 lb *****
  • 1/4 *****, finely chopped
  • 1 *****, minced
  • 1 *****
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Topping:

  • 6 *****, cut in 1-inch pieces
  • 3/4 lb *****, sliced
  • 1 cup *****, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup sugar-free *****
  • 1 tsp dried *****
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 450 F.
  2. In a bowl, mix the ***** with the **********, if using.
  3. Spread the mix on a pizza pan and bake for ten minutes.
  4. While the crust bakes, take a frying pan, heat over a medium heat and cook the ***** for about five minutes so it’s still a bit soft.
  5. Add the ***** and continue cooking until they are almost cooked.
  6. Add the ***** and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Remove the crust from the oven. You can pour out the juices which can be saved for other recipes. At this point your crust will shrunk a bit.
  8. Preheat the oven broiler.
  9. Spread the ***** evenly over your crust and spread the *****, ***** and ***** on top of your sauce. Sprinkle it with the *****.
  10. Put your pizza back under the broiler and broil it until top starts to brown.
